About Grab My Heart
The people who make a life
Last updated August 13, 2026
Grab My Heart publishes friendship, family ties, repair & conflict for readers who want the working version rather than the promotional one.
The tone we aim for is warm, honest, wary of easy advice — we assume you are intelligent, busy, and able to tell when you are being flattered.
What we cover
The site is organised into 6 sections:
- Friendship — Making friends as an adult, keeping them, and what actually holds one together.
- Family Ties — Parents, siblings and the relationships you did not choose.
- Repair & Conflict — Falling out, apologising properly, and the difference between the two.
- Loneliness & Belonging — Being new, being alone, and how people find their way back into a circle.
- Long Friendships — Distance, decades and friendships that survive both.
- Boundaries — Saying no, expecting less, and the closeness that survives being honest.
Who writes it
Every article carries a named writer with a profile page, and nothing is published anonymously. You can see the full list on our writers page.
How it is funded
Advertising pays for this site. It does not buy coverage, placement or a favourable word, and our editorial policy sets out exactly how that separation works.
Who publishes it
